Summer Fun! -- August 13, 2009

We've been very busy here in Windy Meadow.

The kids are out of school so we have vacation, camps, and summer classes all summer long.

Lot's of great summer fun but not much stitching is going on. :-)

I'm having a lot of fun reading and seeing what everyone else has been stitching by following along with everyone's blogs.

I'll be back about Labor Day so see you then!

Enjoy the rest of your summer! Pause a little and listen to the song of the cicadas for me. :)

Hmmmm...that knight and his knitting. He got a little particular about his sock and ripped it out when it probably didn't need it. Perfectionism --- it gets me EVERY time.

I'll start again soon.

Hope you are having a good summer break.

I'm ready for the routine of the school year to begin --- even though my school "kid" is doing his MBA! LOL

We'll look forward to seeing YOUR progress when summer is over! Consider yourself lucky you still have kids who need help getting ready to go back to school--time passes quickly!

In reference to the comment you left on my blog --- yep, the new picture is hanging already. I had a spot in the hallway all ready for it before I even left to pick it up from the framer.

It will stay there until January. Then it will move to a spot by the front door that right now has fall pictures.

In response to your question --- I took the picture back in June and captioned it on Picnik.
